Situated just 5kms (NE) of Margaret River township and within easy driving distance of the region’s numerous attractions, the immensely popular Margaret River Hideaway & Farmstay is a gazetted “Land for Wildlife” property. The property includes two well-appointed Studios (suitable for 2-4 persons) and 7 very comfortable 2 and 3 bedroom cottages, catering for between 2 and 8 guests - in varying configurations. Our “farm” encompasses 23.3 hectares (57 acres) and is home to a wide array of animals including Dorper sheep, alpacas, Scottish Highland cattle, geese, ducks, guinea fowl, emus, peacocks and chickens. Kids and adults enjoy our animal feeding every Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday. Well-behaved dogs are welcome to stay, without charge!

Each of the cottages and studios has a covered verandah, outdoor setting and gas-fired BBQ where you can cook your favourite food while enjoying the outdoors. All units have enclosed front yards within which friendly dogs can be accommodated free-of-charge (rules apply). There is also a coin operated communal laundry.

Standard Cottages
Each has a mix of queen and twin-bedded rooms, fully equipped kitchen / dining / lounge with LCD flat screen TV, DVD player, reverse cycle air-conditioning (to the living area), ceiling fans (to the bedrooms) and wood-fired pot belly stoves (for those chilly winter nights).

Superior Studios
Under 1 common roof, each has queen-size beds, fully equipped kitchen / dining / lounge with LCD flat screen TV, DVD player, reverse cycle air-conditioning (to the living area) and ceiling fans (to the bedrooms). Studios can be opened up to interconnect for larger family groups. Handicapped facilities: Studio 4B has extra wide doorways and a bathroom with handicap-approved features.

Margaret River farm stay is a wonderful place for the family to enjoy farm life.
Units are clean and modern love the woodfire. Kids loved animal feeding and
all the little playgrounds scattered throughout the farm. They loved an
evening around the firepit making damper and toasting marshmallows.
The staff are great with the kids and adults alike and know
the area well. We loved our stay, hope to return one day.
